His vocabulary is growing leaps and bounds, he’s repeating a lot of what we say…i guess just to sound it out on his own.

The weekend rundown…
Friday-very lovely playdate with two newly arrived mamas from VietNam. Much anticipated arrivals!! Although day one of rain had arrived the boys sufficiently proved that girls have cooties, but started their little “flirting”…*shakes head*

Saturday, D and I hung out in day two of the rain pulling up our back walk to make way for a patio. It was hard, miserable work. But, weirdly satisfying at the same time. I’m sore but happy.

Today we spent most of the day at the Mighty B’s house mostly to ward of the “cooped-up-edness” of staying home after 3 days straight of rain.

Gracious hosts as always, they took us in like the rag tag team we seem to be some days. :)

We went to church, saw a dear friend give a beautiful (wildly appropriate) sermon, let him meet Mr LG for the first time and headed home.

Which the drive home reminded me just why we don’t attend evening church. (even after a meal…he hollered all the way home…20 minutes) thanks, LG. :)

After bath and the continued exploration of his new potty, he is slumbering like.a.rock.

and Mama Pajama is on her way to doing the same. :)
